Deer season for rifles now open in Parry Sound District

it’s officially rifle deer season in the Parry Sound District.  The season is open starting today and will run for two weeks, ending on November 16th.  Local Ministry of Natural Resources Conservation officer Robert Gibson says it’s important for hunters to know where they can and cannot hunt.

Gibson and the MNR also want everyone to be safe this season especially hunters who are spending a lot of time in the bush.
