Public tips continue to help police nab impaired drivers in Muskoka.
Over the weekend, Bracebridge OPP was called about an erratic driver on Brown Street in Gravenhurst. The tipster reported seeing a white SUV which was swerving around and had stopped in the middle of an intersection. Police tracked down the vehicle and pulled over the driver.
Officers charged 26-year-old Erica Craigie with impaired driving and having an open liquor bottle in the vehicle. She’ll answer to these charges in Bracebridge on January 9th.
Police continue to encourage the public to call 9-1-1 if you suspect you’ve spotted a drunk driver.
