Huntsville’s new council will meet for the first time this morning.
The council-elect will be introduced and all eight will take the oath of office, as will Mayor-Elect Scott Aitchison.
The eight people who will serve on council for the 2018-2022 term are Nancy Alcock, Dan Armour, Jason FitzGerald, Dione Schumacher, Karin Terziano, Brian Thompson, Jonathan Wiebe, Tim Withey. Aitchison, who is going into his second term as mayor, will also give his Inaugural Address.
The inaugural meeting is happening at the Algonquin Theatre at 11:00am. All are welcome to attend.
