The Bracebridge Chamber of Commerce is looking for new board members.
The Chamber is a committee of business people in the area focusing on issues that affect commerce. According to President Richard Borland, there is a new strategic direction and having fresh faces will help guide that move.
“Our staff, current board along with our members took the time in the past year to review our strategic plan and create a vision for the future,” said Borland “This plan focuses heavily on enhancing member communications, strengthen the business voice in our community and working together to move the business community forward.”
The term of serving as a director on the board is two years. Board members must also be members of the Bracebridge Chamber of Commerce prior to being put on the ballot.
Meetings are monthly with schedules meant to meet the needs of the board.
