Things could get slippery this weekend in Muskoka.

Environment Canada is warning of the potential of a freezing rain storm hitting the region Saturday afternoon and dragging into the night before it changes to regular rain. The Huntsville and Baysville area may see the freezing rain stick around until Sunday morning.

Experts warn the freezing rain could lead to dangerous driving conditions as roads and sidewalks are expected to quickly ice over.

Environment Canada says the storm is part of a wintry mix moving into the district from Colorado, which will last until Monday.
