Get ready for another test of a national emergency broadcast.
The CRTC is running a second round of Alert Ready testing tomorrow afternoon, which is expected to hit TV stations, radio channels and your cell phone.
The newly revamped system, which now includes emergency texting to all LTE-capable phones, was first tested in May. Many residents in Ontario did not receive the text during that first testing phase.
If the testing goes off without a hitch this time, you can expect your phone to broadcast the emergency signal and a text at 1:55pm.
