Muskoka’s first big snowfall this season is leading to the district’s first snow day for students.
Buses running to schools for the Trillium Lakelands District School Board and Simcoe Muskoka Catholic District School Board are cancelled. Schools may still remain open for students who walk or parents who drop off their kids. Muskoka Montessori School is open today as well. Muskoka Christian School has reported it will stay closed.
Environment Canada is forecasting the snowfall will continue this morning, with up to another 4 cm expected to fall.
