Bala Cranberry Festival celebrates 30th year

Bala Cranberry Festival is celebrating its 30^th year. The festival is happening this weekend and is put together to extend the tourist season and quality of life for Muskokans. The events begin at 9am on Friday and go past 2pm on Sunday. It is estimated that since the festival started back in 1984 that just under half a million people have attended and over $100,000 in scholarships have been awarded.
