Busy weekend for Almaguin Highlands OPP

Almaguin Highlands OPP handed out 139 tickets over the Thanksgiving Long Weekend. The OPP says several tickets were issued including 97 for speeding, 9 for not wearing a seat belt and 9 for not having an insurance card. Police are always on the look out for the big four driving infractions, which include: impaired driving, distracted driving, aggressive driving, and not wearing a seatbelt. If you see any of these driving behaviours, please call report it to police.
