A man accused in the drunk driving death of four family members is up for day parole.

Marco Muzzo will appear for the parole hearing on November 7th in Gravenhurst. Muzzo is currently being held at Beaver Creek Institute in the Muskoka community serving a 10-year-sentence for impaired driving causing death. In 2016, he pleaded guilty to causing the crash that killed three children and their grandfather in Vaughan.

Day parole would reportedly allow Muzzo to find work or to volunteer, but he would have to return to the prison each night. He’ll be eligible for full parole next May.
