Victoria Banks wowed a packed crowd at the Port Carling Community Centre last night. The Canadian Country Music Association’s 2010 Female Artist of the Year and Songwriter of the Year is from Port Carling, so it was a homecoming affair. Banks played with members of her family and showcased tunes from her new CD ‘Indigo’. Earlier in the day she helped the MooseFM Radiothon for Bracebridge hospital, visiting our studios to play her song ‘Firefly’. Last night, Muskoka Lakes Mayor Alice Murphy took to Twitter to tell people “terrific concert tonight by incredibly talented @Victoriabanks and family” (Photo: Linda Dodington)
