The 2018 Oldtimers Fall Food Drive for Manna was held on Tuesday, October 2nd, with 332 boxes of food and $3,000 raised on the day.

Dozens of volunteers helped go door to door around Bracebridge gathering items from residents.

Moose FM got involved as well, providing vehicles and working with volunteers to grab up the donations.

“The generosity of our community continues to overwhelm,” said Manna President Sam Robinson. “We’d like to thank the residents of Bracebridge, Rob Fraser, the Muskoka Old Timers and the many youth and community groups who participated.”

Robinson also pointed out the efforts by the work crew from Beaver Creek institution, noting the huge job they did moving the food to the Manna facility.

The Manna Food Bank is located at 345 Ecclestone Drive, Bracebridge and is open Tuesdays and Fridays from 1:00pm – 4:00pm.
