The OSPCA is asking for the public’s help after four white rats were found dead.
The organization says a local citizen came across a medium-sized cage in Severn Township on Sunday just off a private Canadian Pacific Railway trail at the corner of Anderson Line and Southorn Road.
Along with the dead rats, there were blankets and towels inside the cage. One of those was white with an old red fire truck embroidered on the bottom.
The Ontario SPCA is treating this situation as suspicious and is asking anyone with information on these rats to contact 310-SPCA (7722).
