Renovations on the Table Soup Kitchen Foundation Men’s Shelter in Huntsville are well underway. Project Manager Ted Baker says they started the work last week.

The shelter will be located right beside the food bank on Hanes Street. Baker says he is so grateful for the amount of support they’ve received so far since the Men’s Shelter was announced.

The Table is currently looking for welders, block layer and more volunteers for demolition. Baker says the shelter could be complete by the end of this year, but that will depend on getting the right people in place at the right time to do the work.
