Preliminary hearing for Bracebridge murder case extended to next week

A preliminary hearing for a man accused of murder in Bracebridge will continue next week.

Bryan Boland appeared in Bracebridge last Monday for the start of his hearing. The prelim was scheduled to continue next Monday. Preliminary hearings are often used to review evidence that could be used during a trial. A trial date has not been set yet.

Boland was arrested and charged with first degree murder in 2017 after the body of his wife was discovered outside their Wellington Street home. He’s remained in custody since his arrest.
