As the municipal election edges ever closer, there is another opportunity for Gravenhurst voters to meet the candidates.

It will be the second such evening, and it runs on Wednesday, October 3rd from 6:00pm to 8:30pm at the Gravenhurst Opera House, 295 Muskoka Road South.

The evening is sponsored by the Gravenhurst Chamber of Commerce. Manager of the Chamber, Sandy Lockhart says organizing a night like with all the candidates is beneficial because of what is at stake for the future of Gravenhurst. “It’s shaping up to be an exciting election this year and it’s a crucial one for the future of Gravenhurst,” she says.

Questions will be gathered in advance. The Chamber is asking you to email your questions to Lockhart at with a September 25th deadline. Along with all candidates running for election in both the town and District seats, there will be school trustee candidates present and acclaimed Mayor Paul Kelly will speak to the audience as well.

Following the formal part of the evening, a face to face question and answer session will take place in the Trillium Court. The municipal election takes place October, 22nd.
