UPDATE: The watch has ended.
Another round of severe thunderstorms could move into Muskoka today.
Environment Canada has put the district under a severe thunderstorm watch. The weather service warns the system rolling in has the potential to cause lightning, heavy rain, strong wind and hail. The volatile weather is the cause of a cold front moving into the district, which will bring cooler weather for the weekend.
Current forecasts suggest the storm could move in around 6:00pm and clear up by about 11:00pm.
