A former doctor of the Ottawa Sens in Huntsville for a Concussion Awareness Session

The Huntsville/Lake of Bays Sport Council is running a free Concussion Awareness Session in Huntsville Saturday. Chair John Cowan says it’s a great opportunity for the community.

Guest speaker is Dr. Jamie Kissick, former physician of the Ottawa Senators. Cowan says he will discuss issues like ignoring a concussion, which is dangerous.

Kissick is part of a group of researchers that specializes in this topic.
