An annual golf tournament supporting female athletes is returning to Muskoka.
After a successful inaugural run, the second annual Cottage Country Cup is set to run on August 19th and 20th at Deerhurst Resort. The tournament is a fundraiser for the Muskoka Community Foundation grant known as Dara’s Fund.
The fund was created in partnership with Muskoka Olympian Dara Howell, who wanted to help local female athletes reach their goals.
Last year, the Cottage Country Cup raised $4,500 for Dara’s Fund. If you’re interested in registering you can find more details here.
