Muskoka Lakes residents sentenced after pleading guilty to drug charges

Two Muskoka Lakes residents are facing house arrest and weekend prison time.

Chance Kay and Krista Chambers were recently sentenced after pleading guilty to possession of illegal drugs. Kay was given an intermittent jail sentence, which would mean he’d spent time in prison on weekends. Chambers was sentenced to house arrest.

The two were arrested in November after the OPP busted a drug operation in the Greater Simcoe Area. Six other people were arrested and over $120,000 worth of drugs were found.
