Gravenhurst officials are looking for some provincial help to pay for the replacement of Sniders Bay Bridge.
The cost currently is about $940,000 and the town is applying for the Ontario Community Infrastructure Fund to cover 90 per cent of that cost.
The railing on the aging bridge was originally scheduled to be replaced in 2016. But, the town decided to go for a lower cost option, by switching out the old bridge for twin culverts.
