If you’re heading out of Canada on vacation, put blood donation on your to-do list before you go.
Canadian Blood Services will be back in Gravenhurst tomorrow to hold a blood donor clinic at the YMCA. Territory Manager Tara Gutscher says travellers may be hit with blood donation restrictions, depending on your vacation destination.
She says as blood donations are always needed it’s better to donate now, rather than having to wait a month after you get back from your fun in the sun.
CBS is looking for at least 60 donors to step up and face the needle on Tuesday afternoon. The clinic runs from 3:00pm until 7 and you can find out how to book ahead by going to the CBS website.
