OPP in Muskoka lay impaired charges against sleeping driver

A Weston man is facing impaired driving charges after he was discovered asleep in Muskoka.

The 33-year-old was reportedly found passed out behind the wheel of a vehicle in a provincial park in Georgian Bay Township. The man was woken up by an OPP officer and after a short investigation was charged with care and control, an impaired driving-related charge.

His car was impounded for a week and his licence suspended for three months. He’ll be in court in Midland next week.
