Bracebridge man facing charges related to thefts in Orillia
A Bracebridge man is facing multiple charges after a string of thefts in Orillia.
The OPP says last Wednesday officers spotted a vehicle suspected to have been used in the thefts. The car was stopped and the OPP says after investigating officers had grounds to arrest the driver. The 32-year-old has been charged with four counts of theft under $5,000 and four counts of possession of property obtained by crime. The OPP says the car had Alberta plates on it and officers found a British Columbia plate in the trunk.
The thefts in question happened between October of last year and this month. The accused was released on a Promise to Appear and is scheduled to be in court on July 31st in Orillia.
