MAHC receives award as top performer in post-surgical turnaround for colorectal cancer

Muskoka Algonquin Healthcare (MAHC) has topped the list of hospitals in Ontario for having fast cancer results after surgeries. Time Cancer Care Ontario awarded MAHC for their success in providing colon cancer results to doctors before the 14-day expected turnaround. CEO of MAHC, Natalie Bubela says it’s a remarkable achievement for our hospital. Staff with MAHC say colon cancer can take up to 10 years or more to get to an advanced stage; therefore it’s always important to go for regular checkups.
