The Muskoka Novel Marathon is almost ready to roll. Forty writers will descend on Huntsville to take part in the annual, three-day-long writing sprint.
It’s a fundraiser for the YMCA’s Adult Literacy Programs. Organizers say a few changes have been made to make fundraising easier for the participants. The biggest change is a revamped website.
In the 16 years the event has been around it’s raised more than $170,000 and organizers say the event has even jumpstarted the careers of many writers, some who have gone on to become published authors.
