There will be a different way to see the lakes of Muskoka out of Huntsville this summer. Council just approved an agreement with Lady Muskoka Boat Tours to operate tours from the town dock beginning in July.
The 58-foot vessels ride low in the water with glass covered roofs, similar to tour boats in London and Paris. Â There will be two boats running tours starting in July but they have quite a journey ahead as they travel some 12 days from Ottawa through the Rideau and Trent Waterways before arriving in Huntsville.
Lady Muskoka Tours owner Stephen Wyllie told Moose FM there is a lot to be done before the first tour will actually take place in July.
