A Huntsville man in court Wednesday for assault and drug possession

A Huntsville man has been arrested for assault and marijuana possession. The Almaguin Highlands OPP got a 911 call from a Perry Township home on Saturday afternoon. A man had entered the home drunk and started assaulting the people inside. Officers arrested the 47-year-old man and seized 376 grams of marijuana. Police cannot release the name of the suspect. He has been charged with several counts of assault, driving while ability impaired, unlawfully in a dwelling house, criminal harassment, mischief and possession for the purpose of trafficking. He will be in Parry Sound Court Wednesday for a bail hearing.
