Tomorrow is the 2nd Annual Hockey Day in South Muskoka.

This year it’s being held by the South Muskoka Minor Hockey Association at the Bracebridge Memorial Arena.

Every player in the organization takes part and there will be a visit from the OMHA event team. Activities will include the Matt Duchene shooting contest, a portable mini stick rink and appearances by mascot Chuck the Puck. There will also be free hot dogs over the lunch hour. On Saturday night at 7pm there will be a game between the Bracebridge and Huntsville midget teams.

More from SMMHA President Steve Low on the hockey equipment swap that’s a very special part of the day…
