The kids are getting an extra long weekend this month.
The Near North School Board is advising that Magnetawan Central Public School is closed today in order to allow work to begin on remedial work that needs to be completed as a result of an overflow in the basement from a routine oil tank fill-up, which requires the School to be vacant.
The school closure is required to ensure that the cleanup occurs promptly and thoroughly. The school is scheduled to re-open on Monday, May 14th.
