Northeast Rail Advocacy groups holding town hall in Muskoka next week

A northeast rail advocacy group is inviting Muskoka to take part in some train talk.

The Northeast Ontario Rail Network and the Committee Promoting Muskoka Rail Travel will host a special town hall meeting next Monday in Bracebridge. Officials with these groups say this follows a successful summit held on passenger rail in Sault Ste. Marie. The groups are pushing for the province to build a passenger train network running from Toronto all the way to Moosonee.

If you’re interested in finding out more about how to support this movement, you can drop by the event at 7pm at the District of Muskoka office in Bracebridge.
