Hydro One crews are still on the ground in Muskoka fixing multiple outages.
This comes after a wind storm tore through the district on Friday, with reports suggesting winds got as high as 90km per hour. This morning crews are working on restoring power to homes across the district. Here’s the latest restoration time projections from Hydro One:
Bracebridge, over 5,000 homes without power, majority to be restored by 6pm
Huntsville, nearly 1,000 homes without power, majority to be restored by 6pm
Muskoka Lakes, nearly 2,000 homes without power, majority to be restored by 6pm
Gravenhurst/Severn Township, nearly 2,000 homes without power, majority to be restored by 6pm
Power to many of these homes will likely be restored throughout the day according to Hydro One.
