Dorset Library won’t undergo any changes without talking to residents first

Algonquin Highlands wants input from the public on the future of the Dorset Library. Council had a plan to renovate the building but decided it wants to hear from residents first before making any decisions. The plan would have called for around $25,000 in new furniture and renovations, including to the entrance.

Moffatt says there was no consensus on a library transformation plan.

Moffatt adds the township will use different methods to make sure as many Dorset residents.

Council insists that no decisions would be made without public input.
