MPP Miller asking for answers on provincial budget deficit discrepancy

Norm Miller is questioning why a Wynne Liberal budget report isn’t adding up.

The Parry Sound-Muskoka MPP is referencing a report from the Ontario Auditor General, claiming the deficit will be $11 billion dollars at the end of this fiscal year, which is about five billion higher than the province originally stated. Miller says he trusts Bonnie Lysyk’s numbers. Lysyk points to the Fair Hydro Plan as having the biggest inconsistency between her report and what the Liberals released in their pre-election budget details.

Premier Kathleen Wynne has not responded to this report from the Auditor General.
