Two Gravenhurst residents accused of drug, firearm possession

Two Gravenhurst residents are facing a number of charges following a search warrant at a home in the town. The Bracebridge OPP and the Huntsville Community Street Crime Unit carried out at the warrant at the home on First Street on Friday.

A 47-year-old woman and a 23-year-old man are now facing 15 charges in total. Cocaine and marijuana possession are among the charges, along with unauthorized possession of a firearm, resisting a peace officer and possession of property obtained by crime.

The woman will be in court next month, while the man was held in custody pending a bail hearing. He’ll appear in a Newmarket court via video feed this weekend.
