Bracebridge residents being forewarned about fireworks training

It’s going to be noisier than usual at Peake Fields and Bracebridge Bay come October 26th.That’s when fireworks training will be done by the Rotary Club of Bracebridge. Mayor Graydon Smith suspects a lot of people will be wondering what is going on on a Sunday afternoon at both locations. He wants the Town to publicize it well in advance to catch people’s attention. It’ll be happening at Peake Fields between 1:30 and 3:30pm and at both Peake Fields and Bracebridge Bay between 6 and 8pm. Each year on Canada Day, the Rotary Club of Bracebridge does the fireworks show in Bracebridge Bay – an event that draws thousands.
