All our area Junior A teams were in action over the weekend. On Friday, the South Muskoka Shield started their weekend with a 9-2 win against Almaguin. They kept the winning momentum going as they blanked the Toronto Ice Jets yesterday 6-0. Elsewhere, the Bracebridge Phantoms lost to Rama Saturday 2-0.
In other Junior A action the Huskies edged Temiscaming, Friday, 6-5 and defeated North York yesterday 13-2. Almaguin beat SturgeonFalls Saturday 13-1 and Parry Sound won their match against North York, Saturday, 7-3.
