Provincial funding is helping create more jobs in Muskoka.
Muskoka Rock Company was recently named a recipient of $350,000 from the Eastern Ontario Development Fund. Company President Seth Rudin says the funds will help expand the company by building a new plant in Huntsville.
Rudin says over the course of the project, 15 new jobs will be created in Muskoka. The new facility is expected to be ready by the end of 2020.
Muskoka Rock has been in business since 2012 and is the largest provincial manufacturer of granite products.
