A construction project set to last several months gets underway on Monday in Huntsville. The South Lancelot Bridge is being replaced, because of the age and condition of the bridge, according to the Town of Huntsville. The new bridge will be two lanes instead of the current single lane and will be in the same place.
The bridge will be closed during the construction, which the town says will be completed this summer. Traffic will be detoured onto North Lancelot Road.
The town says it is taking measures to keep the closure as short as possible. Anyone with concerns is asked to contact Public Works at 705-789-5684 ext. 3821.
