The Eastern Ontario Trails Alliance is giving its pass members access to trails west of Algonquin Park.
The EOTA has announced it has partnered with the Parks to Parks Trails Association to introduce a ‘OnePass’ permit. This will give its members access to an extra 900 kilometres of trails in the Muskoka and Georgian Bay areas. EOTA General Manager Cindy Cassidy says this will benefit both trails associations.
Cassidy says EOTA hosts 25,000 users each year, who pump $6-million into the local economy. While the trails aren’t completely connected yet for motorized vehicles, she says cyclists and hikers with EOTA passes will be able to use over 3,000 kilometres of trails spanning from the Bay of Quinte to Georgian Bay. Cassidy says there are plans to invite other groups to join in on the ‘OnePass’ permit into the future.
Cassidy says the cost to get an EOTA pass won’t change because of this; it will still cost $150 a year, $75 a week, and $25 a day. You can find out more by clicking here.
