The kids are getting a day off from school today.
The Trillium Lakelands District School Board has cancelled all of its buses in Muskoka. This includes buses running to Simcoe Muskoka Catholic District School Board locations in Muskoka as well.
Officials say road conditions are poor for bus drivers and aren’t expected to get much better throughout the day.
Muskoka Christian School is also closed today.
Because of the bad driving conditions, the Nipissing-Parry Sound Student Transportation Services has cancelled its bus service as well for these areas:
-Britt and Nobel | Mactier, Humphrey, Rosseau | McDougall/Whitestone | East Parry Sound North – North of and including Hwy 522
-Port Loring/Restoule
-Nipissing/Commanda
-Powassan/Trout Creek | East Parry Sound South – South of Hwy 522
-South River/Sundridge
-Burk’s Falls/Magnetawan
-Katrine/Emsdale/Kearney/
