True North Log Homes donates $10,000 to South Muskoka Hospital Foundation

True North Log Homes is doing more than building houses in Muskoka. According to Colin Miller, Executive Director of the South Muskoka Hospital Foundation, a donation of $10,000 came from True North Homes last Thursday. The building company says this donation is meant to give back and support SMHF’s healthcare system. Miller says this donation will help with patient comfort and quality care through the purchase of 32 new hospital beds.

He continued to explain the that when the patients using the older beds need to be moved, care providers run into problems with mechanisms that no longer function.

True North Homes is said to have donated to the organization in the past, but according to Miller, the timing for this money is crucial.

The timeline on when the new beds will come is unknown, but Miller says they should see the updates later this year.
