It’s everything you need to know about becoming a Mayor or Councillor. That’s what the legislative department at the Town of Gravenhurst is saying about an upcoming ‘Election Candidate and Third Party Advertiser Information’ night.
Hosted by the Ministry of Affairs, authorities are saying the upcoming event will help Muskokans become more informed on what the requirements and expectations are if they want to run in October’s Municipal election. Administrators say they will cover topics like roles and responsibilities of elected officials, eligibility rules, and the nomination process.
The information session on Thursday, April 5th, begins at 6:30pm at the District of Muskoka Office.
