An investigation into a fatal crash in Kearney is continuing this week. The OPP says the collision happened at around 7:30 Sunday morning on Highway 518 between Dinsmore and Kallio Road. The single-car crash happened when the driver lost control and went off the highway, hitting several trees on the side of the road.
The driver, 35-year-old Bryan McKenzie of Lake of Bays, was pronounced dead at the hospital. The passenger, a 37-year-old woman from McMurrich/Monteith Township suffered non-life threatening injuries.
A post-mortem is scheduled for today.
