Nominate a community-minded local senior for a provincial award

Do you know a senior in Muskoka that deserves provincial accolades?

The province wants to hear from you as officials collect nominations for the Senior of the Year Award for 2018. The award recognizes Ontario residents 65 or older who have made significant contributions to their community. This could include work in volunteering, teaching, arts and community outreach.

If you have someone in mind that fits this profile you’ll need to get their name in before the end of April. The province will select a recipient from each community and awards will be handed out during Seniors’ Month in June.

You can find out how to make a nomination here.
