Deadline to enter 2014 Municipal Election fast approaching

The deadline to enter in this year’s Municipal Election is fast approaching.  Candidates have until Friday at 2pm to register. In order to be eligible you have to be at least 18-years of age or older, be a Canadian citizen and live within the Town you’re seeking election.  Although it’s not mandatory, it’s also a good idea to call the Town clerk ahead to arrange paperwork.  The election is October 27th.  For more information on how you can apply visit the Town’s website.
