Rick Maloney and Manna Food Bank remind Muskokans to donate their Loblaw’s gift card

Has your ‘bread scam gift card’ from Loblaw’s arrived in the mail? Deputy Mayor Rick Maloney and Manna Food Bank President Sam Robinson are reminding the public to think of others before using it.

According to Maloney, it was a conversation between him and Robinson at the Mayor’s levy in January which snowballed the idea of donating the gift cards to the food bank.

Once numbers were put together, he says it made sense to move forth with the gift card donation campaign to see what the response could be.

Maloney says the support so far from locals has been impressive and adds he doesn’t doubt the people of Bracebridge will continue to help with this type of project.

The registration is still open to sign-up for the $25 gift card and other drop-off areas for the gift cards include Let the Cat Go and the Bracebridge Sportsplex.
