Two Muskoka OMHA hockey teams are fighting to keep their spots in the playdowns.
On Friday night, the Otters and Muskoka Rock will both be staving off elimination in their semi-final brackets. The Novice Rep Otters lost their first two games against Collingwood last week and the Atom Rock lost two of their three games against Essa. The Otters start the night off at 7:10 in Collingwood and back home the Rock host Essa in Port Carling with the puck drop at 7:30.
The South Muskoka Novice Bears won’t hit the ice for their OMHA final series against Petrolia until next week.
Meanwhile, in the CPJHL the Pioneers are kicking off their own playoff series against the Ice Wolves.
