One per cent total tax bill increase expected for Gravenhurst residents

Gravenhurst residents can expect to see a one per cent increase to their tax bill.

Town council has approved the final details on the community’s operational budget which will help pay for fire services, town operations and put money into infrastructure costs. Town officials say each resident will, on average,  end up paying about $90 a month for these vital community services.

The one per cent tax increase incorporates taxes from both the District of Muskoka and the Trillium Lakelands District School Board.
