The Corridor-11 Bus is your connection in Muskoka with Orillia and Barrie – and all points in between. Whether you’re traveling for employment reasons, education, medical services, visiting family and friends, shopping, or you just want to take advantage of everything Central Ontario has to offer, the Corridor-11 Bus is your affordable key to mobility in the community.

Operated by Hammond Transportation in association with The District Municipality of Muskoka, the Corridor 11 Bus makes three runs Monday to Friday from Huntsville to Barrie and back – with stops along the way in Port Sydney, Bracebridge, Gravenhurst, Kilworthy, Washago and Orillia.

WHO RIDES THE BUS?

People just like you who want to reduce their carbon footprint. Individuals looking for an efficient affordable way to get to work. Students trying to save money and get to their classes on time. Seniors visiting friends and family, doing some grocery shopping, and getting to medical appointments while continuing to enjoy the chance to go where they want when they want.

AFFORDABILITY

You can purchase one way fares starting as low as $3, round trip tickets from only $5, and children 12 years old and younger travel for half price.

It really is one of the simplest and most opportune ways of getting around and exploring the area.

CHANGES

As of January 8th, 2018, there have been some changes to the Corridor 11 Bus Schedule to make your commute between communities move even smoother:

  • A new stop has been added at the Muskoka Community Services Hub at 169 Pine Street in Bracebridge.
  • A new stop was added at the Aspire Muskoka Plaza… 345 Ecclestone Drive in Bracebridge.
  • As requested by riders, there’s a new stop in Kilworthy.
  • And the stop at The Nest in Bracebridge has been removed. However, Nest customers can still access The Nest in Bracebridge via the Dollarama Plaza stop.

TICKETS

The Corridor 11 Bus operates every weekday morning leaving Huntsville starting at 6:30 – and makes traveling between towns in Muskoka easy and convenient thanks to an extra two runs in the middle of the day.

But the Corridor 11 Bus but does not run on weekends or holidays. Also the bus takes a two week break around Christmas and the New Year.
